Trumpet

Trumpet is a kitten Curie gave birth to in our closet before she was spayed. She was originally named Mochi, but was such a loud and vocal kitten that she soon earned a renaming.

She's a talented huntress who will do backward saltos and other mid-air maneuvers in pursuit of her prey, which ranges from errant mosquitoes to catnip-stuffed toys. One time she got to chase a rabbit that had darted out of a bush, but she abandoned the chase on realizing that the mysterious white blur was in fact bigger than her.

Trumpet is a picky eater that refuses to eat anything that doesn't come out of a can or a churu tube. She's an incredibly generous cleaner, who will give your hand a thorough licking should you pet her.

Though she might be shy at first, she gets friendly with strangers fairly much quicker than her mom. She's much more of an indoor cat though, and needs to be in the right mood before she goes hiking.
